Sunday 17th October Newcastle v Spurs live on Sky Sports 16:30, make sure you all have plans the love in will be horrific. God knows what studio guest they will get, my money is on Keegan or Steve Bruce. Be a tough day for Dave Jones.

What I don’t understand is in the court documents there was something about the Premier League threatening to expel Poocastle from the prem.

They’ve gone from that to allowing them to become the richest club in the world and ten times richer than Man City.

Was the Premier Leagues only real concern the piracy issue? If so, shame on them.

I wonder what would happen if every premier league club refused to play them on moral grounds. Would NUFC win every game 3-0 and win the league by default?

For me, this is the sad reality of the takeover. The Wear/Tyne derby as we know it will be no more, reduced to Sunderland v State of Saudi.

One good thing though, how can they ever truly celebrate beating us again, but oh how we can take the piss when little old Sunderland win against the ‘richest club in the world’.....

I'm sure they'd have no problem celebrating beating us. Imagine sauntering into mag land in our droves to watch a team of all starts smash them? Sounds class.

To be fair, we've already experienced what that feels like in recent years
