Or more likely imagine they’ll make some class expensive signings in January, finish comfortable and kick on next season. Some will tell others not to go overboard but in my 34 years the mags have been nowt but lucky in terms football and they are jammy enough to just end up the new Man City.
They havent been that lucky. Bottled the title from an unlosable position in the 90s then done nothing since the early 2000s except get relegated multiple times

I disagree with that mind. Apart from a couple of seasons in the mid 90s, they've largely been as bad as us.

Championship only twice, straight up as champions first time of asking, twice. Europe. Flirtations with the top. 5th with Alan f***ing Pardew not to mention some very very good players in that timeframe.

I'm worried about the next generation of young un's supporting Newcastle not us because they're in the big leagues. Also think it's going to be hard to keep any good youth talent if they invest into it... I couldn't give a fuck about them I just hope it doesn't affect us.
We said this in the pub last night, it happened in the Keegan era when kids in Durham and other 50/50 areas started to support the Mags. We lost a generation of kids in that decade.

What league one and record low points twice bad? Play off final defeats etc? They’ve played in Europe and the champions league and swept the championship away like it was shit on their shoe.

Theyre hardly lucky though. Theyve had a mix of good and bad. No luckier than the likes of Boro or Bolton, Stoke etc in the last 15 years.

I suppose the bitterness on here is natural about a takeover of this size. Personally, if it was us, whilst having reservations about the part owners, I would be over the moon. We should concentrate on our club, we have a decent manager and squad and should go up at the end of the season and then it's the next stage to where we should be, in the PL. Let them get on with it up the road.
You can have a great time with the takeover, just be honest that you are a mag undercover. Theres plenty of "out" mags on here who get by. Youre not fooling anyone so you might as well just embrace it.
Accusing me of being an ‘undercover mag’ ffs man :D
Nah youre just a blatant WUM
