Whole thing will end in tears. Mags have convinced themselves they’re going to be bankrolled which to my knowledge there is no evidence of other than the consortium being wealthy. If they don’t immediately pile money in the fans will soon turn
Think so too, I'd be amazed if there was 100's of millions spent as its just not feasible now. I still don't really know what is the benefit to the Saudi's tbh, unless its to make them look good.

I suppose the bitterness on here is natural about a takeover of this size. Personally, if it was us, whilst having reservations about the part owners, I would be over the moon. We should concentrate on our club, we have a decent manager and squad and should go up at the end of the season and then it's the next stage to where we should be, in the PL. Let them get on with it up the road.

Oh look another one.

The bitterness on here is a scream :D

100 pages of bitterness this morning alone.

My thread deleted last night for ‘trolling’ in wishing them all the best.

Has their ever been a bigger meltdown?
Meltdown ? don't see any

Or more likely imagine they’ll make some class expensive signings in January, finish comfortable and kick on next season. Some will tell others not to go overboard but in my 34 years the mags have been nowt but lucky in terms football and they are jammy enough to just end up the new Man City.

Not concerned.

At best they will just become another Everton or Wolves. Spend a shed load of money to finish 7th and have a failed Europa campaign. The wealth of the owners isn't entirely relevant with all the FFP restrictions etc - they're not going to be the next Man City.

There’s surely only so much you can do in a January window though. Could also cause dressing room upset too if they do pay ridiculously over the odds for a couple in players in terms of wages and their teammates on a fifth of the money will be a bit cheesed off. I see decent scope for this to really go tits up for them.

Inevitably they will do something to upset the fans. Fans kick off and do you really think they are used to anything other than being told good things about themselves? Even if they went down the bankroll route I can see another anzhi situation where they buy aging mercenaries on 400k a week (off the top of my head someone like Benzema who is good but would only be there for a retirement)

More like next anzhi
