That's absolutely bollocks I'm afraid. Search mag in peace and the key word Saudi to see what I've said over the years since the takeover was first mooted.

Plenty of our fans object to it. There just isn't much we can do when our own f***ing government can't influence change.

Do you object to it now?

Why aren’t you and the other lads and lasses who oppose it up at SJP? Or on a high street? Or travelling down to London on a bus to speak to Masters?

There was little chance of influencing Mike Ashley to sell up but there was still bulbheeds shouting at shops.

The hypocrisy is astounding.

In a sane world you should start a boycott group - but you won't.

Just as the rest of football will hold their collective noses about Qatar - but we won't.

It's depressing.
I 100% agree. I also think that this is where we need stronger leadership, stronger governance. It shouldn't be the fans having to bear the brunt of it.

I want my club to thrive. I will always support my club. I have no say over who owns it but I will always cheer my club. Tracey Crouch's findings need to lead to more of a fans voice because at the moment we are irrelevant.

It wasn't widely known at the time the abhorrent arsehole that Ashley was. Since it was highlighted, he's been held to account for this practice and I believe even investigated by panorama ?

Everyone knows what's going on in Saudi. Everyone. You can't highlight something everyone is aware of. It's awful, the human rights breaches are awful but what do you suddenly expect football fans to do?
Fuckin hell you've gone to the far end of a fart boring the country to death about how Ashley supposedly treats people yet here we are the very same people and MPs ready to welcome Saudi Arabian folk to your city   . Absolute hypocrisy at its absolute finest. Genuinely thick as fuck.

Well your club made it clear his abhorrent practices weren’t welcome or wanted at NUFC.

Make the same noise for the new owners. Turn up with pride flags en masse at their first home game, womens rights banners, dust off the ‘support the team not the regime’ banner, organise for that young lass who was barracking the corrupt Premier League on tele to now turn her attention to the Saudi embassy, ask that fella who was harassing the young lass at work in London to take his protests to Downing Street to condemn sales of arms to Saudi, chant for the people of Yemen.

Any of the above would allow Newcastle supporters to retain the moral high ground over nefarious business and political practices.

Alternatively, get excited, get the #cans open, welcome them with open arms, turn up in the thousands when a new signing arrives and be completely hypocritical. No doubt there’ll be some turn up with tea towels on their heads.

Not true at all, we influenced his decision to sell and he went on TV to publically state that.

Our club has always supported all of the above issues and will continue to. We weren't the ones resoundingly booing the knee. As a fan base, I can assure you that if the levels of tolerance we promote start to slip, we will be vocal about it.

You are a massive Tory and a royalist. You have watched both Boris and The Queen meet the prince and deal with him. Don't start acting like you give a shit.

You can at least support Amnesty International when they protest outside the ground.

Your new owners literally chainsawed a journalist into little bits because his opinion differed from theirs.

And you're giving it the biggun about tolerance.

You're on a wind up. You must be.
