The thing is though even the minority of mags who are not absolute whoppers still have delusional tendencies. I don’t know of any other club whose supporters are so disconnected from reality.
He met the Krays y'know? He knars people and he can get the murderous, homophobic and women hating regime to change and buy in to the Reejun man !!
That’s what money does to people mate. The prospect of becoming the richest club in football has sent even ‘normal’ fans crazy. One of my oldest mates is a mag. Follows the results and news, takes the bairn a few times a season and was generally rational about football in general. He has even been with me to watch Sunderland (and I've been to Newcastle with him) and takes an interest in "all Northeast clubs".
In all our years of friendship we have never fallen out over football.
Then the takeover falls through and suddenly its all about "the good of the game" and "the PL not being interested in anything but money".
If he can be turned by this, as a rational fan of Northeast football (who just happens to be from North of the Tyne), they all can. God help us!
Staveley has really whipped them all up. Again

What I don't get is if the PL are so corrupt surely they'd have taken the Suadi blood money.Or "almost getting money" in this case.
I'd like to think if it had been us, it wouldn't have driven our fans the same way. That said, the Sunderland fan mentality is very different. We'd have been expecting it to fall through, or be fake news from day one.

And maybe.... if the PiF had really wanted to buy the club... thats what they would have done.
That's the biggest mystery to me. There must have been ways around this if Saudi wanted it that bad. They will have good legal teams, and money to make this happen.
The second biggest mystery is why the only people to kick off about it is a potential minority shareholder and the selling party. PiF said next to nothing, made no noise about it at all. It was like they weren't even involved.
Tragic. PIF are investing billions into hundreds of countries yet these Newcastle idiots think PIF are sat in their palace plotting ways to wind the premier league up hahaOr "almost getting money" in this case.

Exactly.That's what I dont get.
The PL is a brand. A brand it wants to sell to the world, which is a stronger brand with more money, better players and more competition.
It wouldn't "protect the Big 6". If they thought they could have a "Big 8", "Big 10" or ideally a "Big 20".
There is no way that they would deny a takeover of Newcastle if they thought that it would increase their brand.
Exactly.
Also the Saudis can get away with chopping up journalists, war crimes in Yemen, supporting terrorism, stoning gays and any other amount of human rights abuses. Yet they can't manage to bung the (corrupt) Premier league a few quid.
The reejun man divent forget investment and they’ll change their attitudes as soon as they fall in luv with the ToonExactly.

Don't kid yourself, the PL would fall over themselves to welcome the Saudis if the Saudis hadn't been stealing their product. They'd happily get in bed with a murderous regime if one of their preferred media partners wasn't in a geopolitical fistfight with them. That's why the takeover didn't go through.
I don't believe the elite clubs wanted another staggeringly wealthy club in the Premier League, further diluting their power within it and threatening their places in the Champions League.
But I've no reason to believe those clubs have pressured the PL to delay/block the process, I'm not sure they'd need to as the issues are about piracy and controlling persons.
It can ! and despite what our resident Mag sages on here say it sums their support base upI've often thought that 'THE MAG' must be a bunch of Sunderland fans on a long term wind up.
The stuff they come up with is that hilariously embarrassing it can't be real surely?
A vocal section of people think that 5G is a mind control conspiracy. That vaccines contain Microsoft nanotech. Vocal sections can think all kinds of batshit stuff. The piracy was/is a big issue. But a vocal amount of your fans seem to think it's all about the Big 6.
Sure the Big6 wouldn't want 7 teams competing for the top spots, but I don't think they have any clout at all in the PL on the takeover.
But many of your fans do. Which defies logic
"brought #nufc"?![]()
The daft fcker has even tagged Wor Mandys hubby and PIF in hahahahaApparently in Lincolnshire 'brought' means 'bought' (bizarrely), smacks of utter desperation though - suggesting a 'clever' solution to get their hands on the blood-stained cash.
