Aye they threw the old trophy cabinet out, along with whatever trophies they won a lifetime ago! It was costing too much to 'dust it down' as it had been standing for decades without use.

That's why they've only got the Intaturtoe Certificate and Shearer's bobblehead in one now. It's a shame they didn't hang on to the old stuff they've got the best duster of them all in Bruce with his constant "dust waselves down" malarky :lol::lol:

You do realise there are no trophies for just getting to Europe or almost winning the league?

Leagues (us v you): 6 v 4
FA Cups: 2 v 6

so 8 v 10 , not much in it really and it is embarrassing for either of us to go on about former glories as you need to go back a long long way, '27 for you and '36 for us, since we won the league.

Huge small time mentality from you to be gloating that the mags are better than us when we are at our lowest ebb in 142 years. That's not hard really right now but no Sunderland fans are spending as much emotional energy on our club as Newcastle fans are on theirs.

The funny thing is that PIF are currently the best (potential) owners in the world. Right now they could sign every top talent, build a new stadium, win the cl and epl back to back….it’s like that player who gets better each time he doesn’t play. It is costless for them to give the impression that they are still at the table, 13 months on. I never used to comment on the mag thread but this is very amusing.
