Listening to the phone in on the way back I was amused that they had a pen given against them when they shouldn’t have.

Then I watched it. It’s a stonewall pen man. His arm is out there. It’s a pen.

The region actually. Don’t forget the region.
If anyone thinks it isn't a pen, then they need to find a new sport as football is beyond them.

What’s the knacker on about. He’s a right whinging twat. The decisions were correct from what I’ve seen

By the letter of the law, yes.
But that offside called against them is a case study of VAR ruining the game. Marginal at best

Give it or not...
Either way it hides the fact that they had one shot on target yesterday. That's the real talking point. Yet this is from a side (that according to them) has a quality attack in ASM, Willock and Wilson.

They're a bottom half side and have been for a while. I think deep down they know it but they don't accept it as long as there is an outside influence to blame, such as VAR, #premierleagueiscorrupt, Ashley, Bruce, Takeovers, the cartel....

The offside decision was offside. It wasn’t a toe nail it was undeniably offside.

Quote from The Mag.

Jesus a one that talks sense.

"Number 9
You had me until the "£125m net spend"
It gets constantly thrown around but means very little in the grand scheme of things

So since promotion lets look at our Premier League spending on players.
Under (Manager) Rafa
17-18 - 44.9m
18-19 - 43.5m
Season Average £44.2m

Under (Head Coach) Bruce
19-20 - 65m (figures is slightly distorted because Joelinton deal was agreed before Bruce arrived but ill include it)
20-21 - 35m
Season Average £50m

So as you can see a similar average spent on players, the whole NET SPEND thing is garbage as players sold have zero baring on, on the field performance.

If i wanted to be funny i could add this season in too

21-22 - 25m so far
Season Average then goes down to £41.7m So less than Rafa, but of course this transfer window isnt closed (may as well be) and we have the Jan window (don't hold your breath)

So can we stop the whole argument that Rafa didn't have the same amount of money to spend on players that Bruce (Charnley & Co) has had."

Same, watched motd and thought wtf's the fat ponce on about. Was like NBA jam or something.

Beauty of it is if you ignore the stupid ruler line, it's actually Wilson's upper body that is furthest forward given the way he's leaning forward.

It's offside as there's a slight gap between the lines even though the red line is clearly bigger than the blue line so trying to give an advantage to attacker also. Yet the Mags watching on dodgy streams won't have seen there's a gap between the lines and be crying like fuck about it and PL corruption.

But how do you know that the ball is leaving his foot at that precise moment the lines are being drawn?
