Oh no! You best all stop playing video games too. There’ll be nothing left to do soon!!

“The Public Investment Fund (PIF) took new bets in the last quarter, buying a $1.07 billion stake in Electronic Arts Inc and a $1.4 billion stake in Activision Blizzard, according to a Securities and Exchange Commission filing.”

aye but i didn’t f***ing order a Saudi flag, put a teatowl over my head, and wave it outside the house when I play Call of Duty and take someones head off with a sniper

I actually said this to a mag at work, his meltdooon was astonishing 😆😆

Repeating myself but NUFC have just provided a global window at 3pm each week for anyone with an axe to grind. KSA has many enemies around the globe. If there is another "incident" the focus will be on NUFC and of course the EPL. You can shout all you want about PSG and City, who are also owned by oppressive regimes but they are mere gnats in comparison to KSA. This rollercoaster has barely started and it will be most fun to watch.

Leicester were in for him and a St Etienne teenager for their spare centre half position last summer. I mentioned the St Etienne kid in dispatches on here as one we should be after when he was at Le Havre the season previously. If I was the mags……..

Is not gannin to BP stations anymore enuff?

Mr Thick as Mince hasn't noticed that Uber have never paid a dividend, so none of their income has ever been distributed to shareholders. Oops.

You said that the Newcastle United LGBT group putting out a statement was no different to an LGBT person working for a company that had a contract with Saudi Arabia.
If they had said nothing then you had a bit of a point - although you comparison would be more accurate if the LGBT person worked for a Saudi state owned company. But they didn’t do that - as a group they actively welcomed the takeover of their club by a regime that puts people to death for being gay.
It’s a fair question to ask you to give a more comparable example.
You still misunderstand the comment I made. The point was why have LGBT groups which will have employees in businesses or in the government not come forward over all the deals with the Saudis. I’m not saying they shouldn’t come forward against the Mag’s takeover but where are the stands against all the others links to these murderers?

No idea mate. You'll have to run it past the official assessor of what activity we can take to entitle us to object to the new owners of ISIS fc.

I strongly suspect it won't be enough and you will, at least, have to attend one amnesty international march in person.

😂😂😂 Dear me, how desperate. But we're ok to watch Disney and use Facebook now as they don't have shares in that? Absolute straw-clutching.

I would hope decent players would not sign for the new Saudi regime.

The Confederations cup was in Saudi Arabia every other year in the 90s, you'd like to think things have changed re awareness of these things (was almost certainly worse in the 90s) but then they'll all be congregating in Qatar next year so perhaps not. More a case of selectively applied principles than principles.
Football is horrible really. Moralistically its long gone and not coming back. Just have to lump it or leave it. Kinda done bit of both personally.
