I am convinced they walked away last June else there is no way the centre of Islam would have a betting partner on their shirts. If the takeover did happen the Saudi's would need to buy them out of the contract. An official betting partner they may tolerate (City and Qatar have one) but not gambling on the front of the shirt.

I have delivered courses in hotels in conference rooms with bars and the Saudi's have insisted all the alcohol is removed and any pumps covered over.

Watched one of their podcasts with Keith the nut job form NCSL1892 he confirmed that the club doesn’t know if PIF are still interested despite abusing those on twitter who told him that over the last 10 months and also said Boris Johnson only called for a fan led review because Keith sent him a letter telling him too :D the men in white coats need to take him away.
The plan now is to start a go fund me to buy adverts in the press calling the premier league corrupt and for fans to take the EPL to court for loss of earnings from the takeover not happening I shit you not :lol:

I used to play football when I was 11 for Washington Glebe however never got picked up by a scout despite being canny. I think I'll take all the Clubs in the PL to court as their scouts never picked me so I've lost a bastard fortune over the last 40 years.

I had also done some numbers work to show that in terms of market value of squads the EPL is actually one of the most balanced of all of Europe's top leagues (SPL being the most unbalanced) but think it would be too much for Keith. When determining whether a market is a cartel the competition commission would look at concentration measures or the Herfindahl-Hirschman Index (HHI). The HHI for the EPL is 713.2 (based on MV - you could look at it based on revenue/wages but I think MV of squad is better) - L1, which we all see is pretty balanced, is 668.9. The SPL is 2377.5.
