A mate of mine flew business with them to Riyadh to visit Aramco. They have a special menu for sparkling water. Maybe they want to turn Riyadh into a hub like the others....
That is precisely what is planned.
Saudi Arabia has announced plans to develop a second national airline to compete directly with premium flag carriers Emirates and Qatar Airways and turn Saudi Arabia into a Middle East logistical hub. While we do not yet know the new carrier’s name or when it will be launched, it does give a clear signal of the Saudis’ ambitions for the region.
The mags might be a small cog in a bigger game. Diversifying from oil as the world turns towards renewables. Cheap airline fuel too!
Me currently really annoying Newcastle supporting mate :lol:, reckons next season Newcastle will be sponsored by the state Airline. If that does indeed happen, it will give you all of the answers you need about how they are going to pump shit loads of money in.

Lets just wait and see.

The lack of self awareness is staggering. Spent the last 18 months crying about corruption and a Cartel now they are saying it’s got nowt to do with anyone else
