Adam seems to believe £430bn is earmarked for a Sportswashing exercise of buying a PL Club (I know he's joking). Good reply though 🤣

48 hours later, and with 6.5 days left in the window, and the Lingard loan deal still hasn’t happened. The only person to arrive in the last fortnight is Eddie Howe’s cousin.

Staveley is looking at a court case against Ashley over a loan she previously said didn’t exist. Instead of new signings the fans have been given an anonymously sourced story about becoming a mega club.

Surely even the most sportswashed mag is starting to have some nagging doubts about this?

It really doesn't add up. Willing to pay 5m for 18 games for JL but can't up the offer to get a highly rated 21 year old CB. The inability to secure Emelano was telling - he would have asked what the budget is and didn't like the reply. But the spin was he wasn't offered the job.

But ...."14 years of neglect", "Steve Bruce". "It's a long term project", "Trust the owners".......it is going to be fabulous when this goes pear shaped.

Obviously Uncle Eddie's nephew has done all of his research. He should fit right in.

On 6 October 2021, arrested Bissouma on suspicion of a woman. He was led out of , a nightclub in Brighton, with handcuffs. He was initially until 3 November; his bail was later extended to 6 December. On 8 December, it was announced that he had been bailed for a further four weeks. A further update in January 2022 from Sussex police noted that he was currently released under investigation while enquiries continue.

I can see how Inter Milan would make sense for a massive sportswashing project.

They won the league by 12 points last year, so are already pretty close to where you’d need them to be. You’d have UAE in England with City, Qatar in France with PSG, and the Saudis in Italy with Inter. That would be pretty logical.

You wouldn’t start your global mega project by buying Newcastle United and then letting them risk sliding into the championship with Chris Wood and Eddie Howe - that just doesn’t add up at all.

they bought them for the supporters who they knew would worship them as gods as long as they spent a bit of money
