agree, west ham seem to be tiring ( europe possibly kicking in ? ) could do with a bit freshening up. Lingard knows the place, be a logical loan/signingI’m surprised West Ham aren’t in for him. Seemed to enjoy himself down there and clearly improved the team.
Unless Moyes doesn’t want to disrupt his squad.
He’s a fanzine writer. Used to write for The Times. Now he’s a fanzine writer.
They obviously don't know what is needed or they'd have had a DOF in place by now, that was the first thing needed, the very first. You must be logged on to see media items

VINTAGE Newcastle Brown Ale shirt?"You must be logged on to see external linksYou must be logged on to see external links
since becoming a Newcastle fan from the foreign legion, this is a possibility of the third Relegation in my time. I think I'm a hardliner. I have a number of shirts including the vintage Newcastle Brown Ale and the NTL kits. I did boycott the last 6 years of Ashley though."
Class comment from the Mag, who are raging about points needed for tickets for away games. This lad, obviously a 1992er, has loads of tops![]()
He should never be accepted by anyone on Wearside again, football club or supporters. Sad 92 Mag from Durham, the worst kind.Caulkin has actually ostracised himself from covering any other North East team from the way hes went on over the last 2 year. Hed be better off just coming out and saying what his agenda is, which clearly is Staveleys mouthpiece in the Athletic.
Man Utd probably won't want him to go to a possible rival for a top 4 space, i cant see West ham getting top 4 right now but if they got Lingard (and he was as good as last time) and a couple other signings this window they'd be a serious contender. Man Utd will just see Newcastle as a bag of money they can rinse and certainly not a rival no matter what some Newcastle fans believe.agree, west ham seem to be tiring ( europe possibly kicking in ? ) could do with a bit freshening up. I used to enjoy George's work and compared to Edwards et al he was far more neutral and seemed to actually want the best for all NE clubs. As you said with his comments about Di Canio, he's an embarrassment now, nothing to say about the horrendous Saudi owners. He's nothing more than a fanzine writer playing to the crowd. What a mess of a journalist he's become. He's no more than a mouthpiece for a group representing a disgusting nation state.
The thing that grates with him is is how much he played on being george the anti fascist; a man of many principles. He made he's feelings clear when di canio took over.
Yet when it's his beloved mags those principles have gone flying out the window. These fuckers torture minorities in Saudi. Yet he's actively promoting them in a positive light Hope the prick never sets foot in the sol again.

.. Haven't Man U said they will not sell him to West Ham or Spurs / considered rivals ..I’m surprised West Ham aren’t in for him. Seemed to enjoy himself down there and clearly improved the team.
