It definitely has like. I think I must be getting old as this likes shit is totally beyond me. Charlie Brooker surely didn’t imagine that his Black Mirror satire would become reality so soon.

To be fair to Shearer, when he signed for them they had just blown the league and he was seen as the player who would win them the league the following year. All this shite about him signing for Newcastle as they were his team was rubbish, he signed as they were a quality team at the time. No way would he have signed if they were mid table.
