Thought the loan was there to enable the purchase to go through before she got her anticipated Barclays payout?

If it was, then it's a bit problematic for her.
 
Why did she not borrow the money from PIF? If she loses to Ashley, does she lose her shares and, if so, would the PL have to look at who is really running the football club?

The way I'm reading it was that St James Holdings (Big Mike) holds a charge over the assets of PCP (meltyface) in event of default. Which is probably her 10%.

Just imagine, the return of Ashley.

People often assume as I travel around country that I must support Newcastle as come from NE. I take great delight in advising I hate nothing more than NUFC and you offend me by making such an assumption... tongue in cheek of course

I don't say this lightly. They basically sold off their identity to the highest bidder. They literally sold themselves down the river to the devil incarnate - a tyrannical regime that murders journalists, bombs neighbouring countires, enslaves its own people, assaults homosexuals, denounces women's rights, tortures thousands, the list could go on. They did this just so they could have a bit of money and to try and compete with the 'big 6' (which is a closed shop regardless of how much money they spend), they denounced their morals, values, codes of ethics, just so they could get rid of Ashley - they didn't oppose or protest against this takeover, they openly welcomed it. They allowed that kind of regime to rip the soul and identity out of their club, and they were happy about it. They condone and support a regime like that, just so they can 'be rich' in football.

They deserve all the jokes, criticism, immoral remarks, vilification that is going to come their way - they deserve everything they will get in the fallout of this. They are an absolute disgrace.

The saudis aren't going to be around forever. And I for one believe that the whole of world football should never let them forget this. It's despicable really. They can NEVER EVER take the moral high ground again.
