Simple answer is no. Martinelli has always looked good when he plays - reminds me a bit of a young Alexis Sanchez - but you aren't leaving your 350grand a week striker out for a young lad you signed from the Brazilian third division.

Martinelli is class. Didn't realise he waa from third division.

I've thought for well over a year Aubameyang is poison. Not surprised at all to see you's playing way better without him around.

Regardless of what they'll say, some mags will have hell on if they don't sign big names this month.
Looks at Barcelona injury list and players out with Covid

Yet they have to play today ….While crappy little clubs in England get them called off because someone breaks a finger nail
Yep, as long as you have 5 first team players in Spain. You have to play.

The author of this took the easy way for likes and started licking the mags arses:

This gives me hope that it will be a disaster. In fact very reminiscent of Everton with Moshiri wanting the big names and look where it has got them.

"This is natural, and a by-product of having multiple senior voices running a soccer club. Debate, and at times disagreement, can be very healthy. But what's clear is the non-PIF voices at the club are far more focused on the soccer, with PIF very much looking out for the brand.

Al-Rumuyyan is intent on landing a marquee signing to help grow the latter and is known to be an admirer of both Bale and Philippe Coutinho. But there seems to be consensus that this window is not necessarily the right time to recruit a 'luxury' player. Should the Magpies fail to get some of their primary targets early in the month, it will be interesting to see if any 'panic' sets in and names previously dismissed, like Bale, suddenly seem more appealing."

Bale 😂😂😂😂😂

I can remember the pure joy on here the day the murderous Saudi's apparently pulled out of the deal, I was one of them. To now pretending that we're not bothered is a bit silly. Just look at how many mag threads, posts and replies there have been since this was announced. By far the most popular thread on this forum.

Plus, we'd have been delighted had it been us so let's not kid outlrselves.

We are sunderland, we'll be back!!
I wouldn't have been delighted you empty-headed buffoon. How dare you speak for me? I'd have been devastated, disgusted and ashamed. Off you go to find another forum, preferably one for the hard of thinking to make sure you fit in.

Got their Club back 🤣🤣🤣🤣🤣
Cant believe I read through that. Its written by a bairn surely so I won't be too harsh.

''It is bizarre feeling great about your club, given that we are 19th in the table with only one win all season, but things are different now. Newcastle United are no longer just existing to benefit one spiteful and greedy individual, we are actually trying to be a proper football club again and be the best that we can be''

Lol f***ing lol
He doesn’t have to as long as they can brag about how much he’s costing them and the old, plays for engerlund tha knaars.

Have they?

Exactly mate. Southampton will be told to STFU.

Wouldn’t you think being as they are the richest club in the world, on the cusp of greatness that we wouldn’t even be on their radar. And yet…..
We own them. Every second of every day. That six in a row broke them more comprehensively than fat mick ever could.
Better fans and better people, and it tears them apart.
Be careful the the gloaters club will get you on their mobilty scooters. What a bunch of f***ing sad acts

The author of this shite is the biggest, saddest, most ignorant stinking Mag I've possibly ever come across...and there have been a few. I wonder if he actually was there that day? I'm guessing not. It appears they took over but that's not what I saw. My greatest memory of that day when I was in the clock stand paddock and a kid in the Gillingham end had a black & white shirt on and was on the shoulders of another kid. Someone launched a golf ball at him and hit him square on the head. It was f***ing glorious
Nothing should shock me, but f*** me this is absolutely incredible.
I read that letter and the comments, and there’s a bloke taking the piss out of our obsession with them - on an item about a club they formed 30 years ago to celebrate our relegation.
I spent the first 23 years of my life in Northumberland, surrounded by black and whites, but I really don’t remember them being this thick

'Ok mate.....some of them know who I am.
I have been a thorn in their sides for the last four decades at least'
😂😂😂😂😂 Dear me, you sad bastard...I presume you'll read this. I see we're obsessed....but he's sent that to Tony Cascarino....and the fact they're having a get together to reminisce....jesus wept 😂
Oh and Cascarino didn't score a 'last gasp' goal....it was around 2 minutes into the 30 minutes extra time....

Do those fuckers still exist? Shameless turncoat fuckers, but why would you be surprised?
No reason to be surprised. Always been turncoats following the money. History teaches us this.

Evolution mate. They are in a race to the bottom. Regressing at a rate of knots.

Said it before......

The 6 in a row and then relegating the bastards has caused serious mental issues amongst a population with chromosomal abnormalities.

There'll be peer-reviewed studies if you look hard enough about how such individuals become increasingly obsessed following such anguish as time goes on.

I'm midway through writing such a study having collected evidence that the only way they can cope is to cover themselves in pastry and bisto granules.

Doesn’t surprise me, their second best result this season was our defeat to Arsenal.

We still haven't heard how many N*wcastle players are actually COVID positive and I doubt we ever will.

Some mag poster reckoned 2 iirc on here last week.
It's a bit of a farce here given teams may only have a few covid cases but a shit load of injured/suspended players and get games called off. I think if the PL said how many players have been reported out and how many are due to COVID for cancelled games there would be a shit storm.

Looks at Barcelona injury list and players out with Covid

It's mad that this even happened in Portugal's top league and even got to HT when it was 7-0 to Benfica. It only stopped after a lengthy HT and the Belenese players coming out again and one kicking the ball and going down 'injured' so game was halted
