Posted this in the other thread, but there's far too much discretion involved at both PL and EFL level for these postponements.
It's open to abuse and favouritism, and injuries shouldn't even be considered.
I don't see how they can't have a figure, and when that figure is hit (and proof of same is supplied), the game is off.
If that number isn't reached (and again it should be COVID cases only, not injuries), the game is played.

I'm starting to think that unvaccinated players who are close contacts and self-isolating, but are turning in negative tests, should be in the numbers as if they were available. Might wake a few clubs up.

I get that they have to sensationalise to get subs, but isn't this the case for literally every transfer ever ? I can't imagine many deals are struck after the first offer. Seems an odd article tbh.
This is literally what has happened. Atleast in the EPL anyway I dunno about EFL. You have to have 13+1 of your 25man squad available.

Did we write the rules like? The amount of meltdown over us having fixtures off is hilarious. We have played 19 games which is more than lots of teams FFS. Nobody moaned when Watford or Burnley called off games. It's embarrassing.
