Honestly its hilarious how they think Ashley is this big bad man and the reason they arent doing well. In reality Ashley is the only reason they are doing so well. If he wasnt there they'd be just another shit championship team. Would love him to sell up and the little dream world they live in to all come crashing down.
I'm hoping they get a buyer like they keep saying they want. Maybe the american, can see him buying them with the sky cash. They'd be in our position before they knew it. Really have something to kick off about then.

(18/19), (16/17 - 17/18), (11/12 - 15/16), (10/11), (06/07 - 08/09), (96/97 - 05/06), (01/02), (95/96), (93/94 - 94/95), (88/89), (86/87 - 87/88), (85/86), (84/85 - 85/86)
Add Joelinton onto that. It’s a pretty shit list. I’ll give them Andy Cole. Ferdinand they took off him.

I'm sure one or more of Bobby Shinton, Rob McDonald, Frank Pingel, or Tony Cunningham must have played Number 9 for them as well?
it is over the top the way it’s talked about but to be fair in the 90s we did have one of the worlds most famous strikers in it and the premier leagues top scorer

Yes but you bollocksed on about it for decades before then - it was one of the reasons Ferdinand got shafted.

This, they should be careful what they wish for.

I had no idea about that to be honest I genuinely thought it was because of Shearer. I suppose Milburn and McDonald were top strikers if they wore the number 9
