Mentioned that in the commentary of the NI match last night. A Klopp sign of approval for a wing/full back is like the gold standard. That would be a decent signing if you pull that off.According to what I've just read, earlier in the window Liverpool went for him but only offered £8m and Norwich were hoping for nearer £20m
Bit of a come down from Mbappe, Messi, and Neymar.Tin Hat on here, but Fraser, Wilson and Lewis would be great signings for them, exactly the type of players they should have been looking at for years.
On here. Obviously went on a stadium tour and pretended he had broken in.

No doubt if you sign him he would have turned down some of Europe's biggest clubs etc etc blah blah blahAccording to what I've just read, earlier in the window Liverpool went for him but only offered £8m and Norwich were hoping for nearer £20m
£20 million bid in for Callum Wilson, Ashley doesn’t spend money though.
They'll be Bruced within a monthTin Hat on here, but Fraser, Wilson and Lewis would be great signings for them, exactly the type of players they should have been looking at for years.
They are overpaying (either on wages, fees or both) for domestic players.Tin Hat on here, but Fraser, Wilson and Lewis would be great signings for them, exactly the type of players they should have been looking at for years.

Did not approve of him that much if he was only willing to pay 8 million for him and he was available for 14 million.Mentioned that in the commentary of the NI match last night. Fair point. Looked good for NI last night.Did not approve of him that much if he was only willing to pay 8 million for him and he was available for 14 million.
They are overpaying (either on wages, fees or both) for domestic players.
In addition, all these players went down recently.
It is very similiar to what Bruce did when he was with us - signing Larsson, Gardner, Wickham etc.
Larsson and Gardner were bang average plodders who got relegated, tbf. They are overpaying (either on wages, fees or both) for domestic players.

I wouldn't be getting worked up about Callum Wilson if I was a Mag. Only 1 season out of 5 in a team as attacking as Bournemouth. The new Dwight GayleThey are overpaying (either on wages, fees or both) for domestic players.

He’s f***ing shite.I wouldn't be getting worked up about Callum Wilson if I was a Mag. Only 1 season out of 5 in a team as attacking as Bournemouth. The new Dwight Gayle
No one except the club will know the wages, but if you think free agents or players with recent premier league experience are coming in with low wages, then fair play. You have no idea what wages they're paying. I don't think they're overpaying on fees (but everyone has their own view).
Players being relegated means nothing. For every Larsson, you have an Andy Robertson. For every Wickham, there's a Defoe. For every Gardner, there's a Wijnaldum.

Wijnaldum and Defoe had established pedigree at both club and international level.
Fraser, Wilson and Lewis do not have that previous pedigree. They are more in line with players which I mentioned, unless you want to argue differently.
In addition, it comes across as very scattergun. Looks to be signing 'name players' who are available rather than targeting players who fit into their system.
