I’d be mortified if our fans went on like that.
And I know their response is but aye you just lie down and let people shit all over you, but surely there is a happy medium because they just make utter numpties of themselves
 
I'd go easy on him. Think it was a while ago but still.

Without watching it, which would be a task too far for me, it is worth considering the mental sate of this precariously balanced individual. He had travelled a long way, and his club now appear to no longer be the subject of unsavoury Arab attention, and look like they will have their current owner a little longer.

As well as that , it might also be said that if he was going to visit a stadium at all while he was here, then it might be better for him to have a look around one which is not likely to have a lump of crumbling, badly mixed concrete fall on his head, much though that unfortunate event might improve his senses.

It's nice to say in matters of this type that "he'll be okay", or "he's just a one off nutter". But he won't be, and he isn't. They really never, ever stop giving you a reason to laugh.
