Personally, I don't see the point in shirt numbers. Serve no purpose at all these days. A name on the back is all that is needed, and I would say that even that is open to some debate.

I thought the same, made no sense that Newcastle would offer that proof.

As for PIF, as long as the chairman is the Crown Prince, what sort of evidence could they possibly provide that would be believable?

Despite all this, I still think its the intellectual property theft that is the main problem.

I assume by 'back on' you mean happening.

I took it to mean Ashley is going to force the issue as much as he can. At worst it's £17million and evidence that some daft fucker will pay his asking price. At best i's £300m in a pandemic with the high street in disarray. He has all the motivation in the world to try and get this done, least of all getting rid of the f***ing fans and their abuse.

I think the PL was right to reject it, but I don't for a second think the process was as clean as they want us to believe. Masters will have had all sorts of people bending his ear about it.
 
Imagine if a bona fide multi billionaire came in for a proper mag takeover only for HMRC to find them guilty of financial irregularities, then the PL denotes them 2 divisions and the takeover collapses.....if Carlsberg did meltdoons

Under Mag law we should believe the two Russians that went to Salisbury to see the cathedral and that they had nothing to do with the poisonings. They have said it so it must be true.
