It's no great shock that you believe no good would come of PIF's ownership.

I can't speak for every Newcastle fan, but the overwhelming majority want shot of Ashley first and foremost. After tht they want the new owner to show ambition and have a little joined up thinking. The staggering wealth of PIF would have some dreaming of Haaland and Mbappe, but honestly, most just want to see the club push to be the best version of itself that it can manage. Under Ashley, under Bruce, we can't be.

Plenty of chomps, but this one tickled me.

You thought you'd piss the championship, then League 1, then League 1 again, etc.
Back again after getting totally humiliated the other day  Bore off man, you are a stain on this board.

Mate, seriously consider logging off.

This can’t be good for your health.

On what planet do they think this is going to endear anyone in the PL to their cause. They disrupt a sky football match, and then complain when. Sky don't support their cause.

The sing anti-PL songs, then complain that the PL don't like them
You are right. It's better to do nothing at all. Then we can fall through the league's and still do nothing. We can then stop supporting our club when they need us, so much so they have to shut off half the stadium.

What we can then do, is struggle to keep our best players as teams like Wigan and Hull take them whilst we happily and comfortably sit in League one.

Seems a much better choice.

You'd probably get a few bites if the majority of this was true, but it isn't.

What isn't true?

You lost Honeyman (your captain to Hull) Wyke your top scorer to Wigan.

You closed a concourse didn't you because you couldn't fill it? Isn't it still closed now?

You also just sat back and took it, unless I'm mistaken. It's not a protest not turning up to games, it just shows you can't be arsed about the club you love.
The thing is, any fan that invades the pitch will be arrested and almost certainly get a ban. I wonder if Gordon is going to be man enough to go first?
I highly doubt it 🤣 Lots of twitter warriors. Fuck all will happen.

Its ridiculous like mate. Anyone running onto the pitch is basically gifting Ashley £££ and will almost certainly get a criminal record.

If Gordon and co are hoping for a Man Utd style protest - it’s not going to happen. Frankly they need to grow up

Ah that narrative again. No need to shout at shops to get a message across. Short was leaving anyway, once Donald was sussed he got the message and left.

As for part of the stadium being closed.. as if anyone would get over 42K in League One?

It won't happen man. A few will turn up, none of them will have the balls to run on the pitch anyway, and there will be general boos when we get beat. Standard.

Since when did the SOL hold 64k?

Oh and 10k free season tickets for a Premier league club ffs.😂

The implication here is that Sunderland are in League 1 because the fans didn't try hard enough.

But in his whole time at the club, Newcastle fans have never, ever been able to influence Mike Ashley or change his mind. Maybe Sunderland fans could have acted differently, but I certainly wouldn't be looking at the efforts of Newcastle fans as some kind of blueprint for making change happen at a football club.
