I'd love it to be totally transparent and expose major issues with the bid on the side of Staveley, the Reubens and the Saudis
It'd be hilarious if the reason the PL was not transparent was to protect the image and reputations of the people the mags think are god-like.
"In the interests of transparency, here is our process and here are the reasons that the consortium failed. We had entered an agreement to keep these reasons secret to protect the proposed buyers and regret that it has become public knowledge and the damage this may do".
Bottom line remains. It is not the buyers who want arbitration. It is not the buyers seeking lawsuits. The Saudis and Staveley etc have been very quiet. If they wanted the club, they would be making the noise
