NUFC and other Sportswashing Spring 2022

It's all going to come on top for the mags this- all it will take is a concerted effort from media outlets to cover more of the atrocities by the Saudis in Yemen. No-one except the sportwashed, scummy mags will want them anywhere near English football.
You're living in cloud cuckoo land.

You're living in cloud cuckoo land.
I think he’s spot on. And there’s going to be a huge tipping point in November when football’s altruistic and moralistic turn hits the buffers when the penny drops that all the work football has done when it comes to LGBT, anti-semitism and gender issues go out of the window with a world cup held in Qatar. There’s going to be huge media scrutiny I predict in the coming months, and the mags inevitably will be getting dragged into it.

Right, let me offer a three-pronged solution to the thorny problem of some foreign stars who find themselves the subject of Newcastle United interest this summer but are not fully aware of the revolution unfolding on the banks of a great river.

My reaction is prompted by United's persistent interest in Hugo Etikite and Sven Botman who both play their football in France and have seemed a tad reticent to head directly north.

Perhaps we need to alert all on United's radar to how massive this club is which comes a'knocking at their door. Sure it has been in a long deep sleep but let no one be fooled. It is now being excitingly shaken into life.

😂😂😂

It’s shocking what’s happening in Yemen. Shocking what’s happening in other war torn countries aswell. Feel for everyone involved, especially the children.
The country your owner comes from and runs like a dictatorship financed 9/11. You can’t defend that

You aren't a hypocrite mate, as you believe everything is fine with your takeover.
I don't think everything's fine with our takeover. I don't think there's much that is fine about football in this day and age, just as I don't think everything's fine over the world and I'm a hypocrite like everyone else is.
Like I said before, it comes down to fi8ne margins for everyone depending on their stance on anything and everything that suits or does not suit.
Unfortunately, that's the nature of the beast within us all.
Not trying to alter your thoughts, just exposing them for what they are.
By all means, expose what you think suits you.
I'll Never apologise for being a Newcastle fan.
Are you supportive in the removal of Abramovich?
I have no interest in Abramovich or Chelsea.
I don't suppose NUFC majority owner Prince Salman runs a murderous regime as well has being offered an 11 year olds hand in marriage at the age of 33. It is fact.

If it's all a fact to you then you are welcome to it.
Stop digging your hole, you seriously haven't a leg to stand on.
A leg to stand on with what?
You may as well advocate the Russian invasion and killing of innocent women and children whilst your at it.
You can think whatever you like about what my thoughts are and you can bend anything you want to suit your needs.
You weaken your argument with me by simply saying this stuff.

They already do. They are all over Ekitike’s Twitter - not that he probably even looks at it - with pictures of the ground, flags etc. Who need# European football when you have flags?

There's a surprise, well swerved the question "Are you supportive in the removal of Abramovich?". OK, you say you have no interest in Abramovich or Chelsea but what about the reasons behind his removal?

Do you have an interest in the fact that a certain person who is chairman of the group that owns 80% of NUFC is in part to blame for this shown in the video below and other things regarding beliefs and laws in SA you are in no doubt aware of?

go on, break it right down as you'll see this
Don't come back with the UK exports weapons etc as that's just another swerve. Courts don't usually send the gun manufacturers to prison, it's mainly people that use them on others unless they've good legitimate reason to. As is the whataboutery about the small percentage of non controlling shares PIF bought in companies. Those shares were nowhere near the 80% they have in NUFC and is seemingly using as a sports washing vehicle.

You mention it comes down to fine margins but for many, not just SAFC fans, there's no fine margin regarding NUFC, it's literally black and white as to what happened and what is going on. Try to focus on the concerns to you directly being a supporter of that club rather than all the problems in the world by using deflection or whataboutery.

3 mags at tops spotted at Newcastle airport yesterday.

All sported by sad looking fellows with absolutely no self awareness 🤣

Got called a mackem bastard by one of them on Saturday morning at the airport obviously spotting my black cat tattoo on me leg.
Quite enjoyed four of us labelling him
A murdering gravy slurping ****, he hadn’t realised him and his fat slag missus was outnumbered.

This fella is going full on sportswashing isn’t he

Turning up at a charity event = straight out of the textbook

I criticised him on Twitter the other day and got piled on by mags with whataboutery. Again: textbook sportwashing tactics 🤮

They are always right up the arse of someone who along with his wife has share of 10% (probably less in future). Yet some of the mag fans go on as if they are the outright owners and running the show when they're simply puppets being used as the face of the club to deflect the true owners behind the scenes.

I wonder if those same fans would still do the same if it was MBS who was the public face of NUFC as they'd bought them 100%? The sad fact is that some of them actually would still be given the way they are now with the Governor of PIF. What percentage of the fans loving it now would be the complete opposite if it was say Aston Villa instead of NUFC who were taken over by PIF etc? I'd say a lot of them as it's amazing how fickle football fans are when it comes to a club and how they will change their views on something. From all the deflection and whataboutery, along with the tomfooleries of the whole takeover process it seems the mags have a higher percentage than most clubs.
