Unless @Redandwhitedust can spot another error the massive clerb that is the mags are in a small group (15) of league teams never to have played at the new Wembley (Spurs away aside):

Prem (1) : mags
Champ (3): Blackburn, Forest, Bournemouth
L1 (3) : Accrington, Ipswich, MK Dons
L2 (8) : Carlise, Colchester, Crawley, Hartlepool (thank you R&W dust), Oldham, Port Vale, Sutton, Walsall

To be honest I wouldn't know where to start on other clubs. I just vaguely remember some pub bore mentioning that Hartlepool were one of very few clubs never to have been to Wembley.

Didn't check it at the time. Just took it as a given.

I did double check West Auckland. I knew they'd been once, but the second time completely passed me by!

Can only spend 70% of your turnover on wages, transfer fees and agents fees.

Unfortunately for the Mags their revenue is pitiful in comparison to the likes of City and Liverpool.
That’ll sharp change when they get their Aramco and Saudi airlines sponsorship sorted. Not to mention Wilkinson sword and JCB. Oh and probably Bridon rope And Kapp surgical instruments. Minted man.
We will just follow City's example and cheat.
Plenty of loopholes built in no doubt. As they do.

As predicted, journalists have buried all that ownership stuff after the international break.

I was wondering if BeEddie had educated himself on Saudi human rights yet.

The thing is that those who will demand clarity don’t have the power or money that these owners do therefore the end result will be it will be brushed under the carpet. We live in a world where the morality of humankind is being put second place to wealth. Nothing will change unfortunately and neither will those idiots up the road supporting it.

Was a temporary ban from October until December. It has then been permitted since then but will have to represent fair market value. Who decides what fair market value is is unclear.
Fair market value can change very quickly if a club is in the ascendancy or on the decline.

they own 16 horse racing courses anarl including newcastle

But when the wealthy clubs start talking...

If Newcastle suddenly got OTT sponsorship from Saudi owned companies and the big 6 (- Man City) started putting pressure on.... that when things get interesting.
On a lesser level, clubs around and below Newcastle might start asking valid questions as well.

I do think at some point the pressure will be on to reveal the "assurances".

At the end of the day the PL sanctioned it. It wont change who owns the mags. But it might be the tip of a corruption iceberg

I'd even go as far as to say that the Big 6 (- Man City) would use the FAs refusal to enforce its own rules as a motivator for an Euro Super League if it came to it.
