I agree that he is. And it’s trivialising his music. Which is such a shame because I genuinely think it stands up with out all this shite surrounding it.
 
Sam Fender has been around for a while. I can't remember him playing up to the Geordie shite until the takeover happened then suddenly he was the world biggest toon fan. Sort of like people who claim to love the world cup when it's on but would rather watch Eastenders then a WC qualifier. His music is garbage too
