I swear blind the Saudis would have to drag a man into a mags living room and hack off his head in front of him for these pig ignorant f**kers to pay it any attention.
Na, they’d just class the poor beheddied bloke as a martyr for the jordee nashun

The weakest of minds will always be corrupted..the narrative is changing about loathsome owners now...its here and now in the public domain!!..obviously the mags will maintain a siege mentally..but you cant hide what's there to be seen!!

Notice there's a distinct lack of terrorist sympathisers on this thread now.

Has the penny finally dropped with them?
They know what the Saudis are. They always did. They won’t have a word said against them until theyve gone or they don’t spend enough money. Whichever comes first.

This is from BBC sport, reporting about a missile strike on an oil refinery near the F1 track.

BBC Sport has learned that a significant number of drivers had concerns about the safety of the event following the attack.

But eventually they were convinced to go ahead and race after being given further information by bosses.

Part of this information involved the possible consequences of not racing, such as how easily teams and drivers would be able to leave the country if the race did not happen.

Sorry but that sounds incredibly threatening. Race, or we might not be able to leave the country? Wow.

Been trying to figure out if that veiled threat could have been misconstrued…..but it can’t can it?
It is a threat….veiled or in plain view.
These are people used to having their own way or else.
The mask of the public face that they want the world to see is slipping.

I didn't pay ot much thought at the time, but read Eddie Howe's comments here

"It’s not uncomfortable to be asked, I understand you need to ask. But it’s my right to answer how I feel is right for myself and for Newcastle," he said.

"At the moment it's to give you as much as I can without going into an area that's not best for me to go into. If I do, the team may suffer".

In light of the comments in the article of Formula 1, that second paragraph is suddenly a lot more sinister. He's clearly been told that if he criticises the regime or country, there are consequences for the club. Presumably in a drying up of funds... but you never know with them lot

In other words, as we have all said. Sportswashing.

The mags are defending Saudi, because they know that if they dare criticise them, they could walk away.
