Do you think they will be challenging? ....for top 6 definitely ...probably within next 3 year ....but the axis of man city man utd Liverpool Chelsea and spurs will be hard to break into .....yes they have the funds to compete but their board has said it will be done in a structured way so I can't see them challenging for top 4....for ages yet probably next 10 year .....I really do think it will take that long unless they just spend spend spend which Howe and stavely said they won't do
Take it from me they will be competing with Everton , palace and the like
I hate to say it again but people who think the Mags are skimping or pissing about are absolutely deluding themselves.
The truth is it’s horrific and it’s going to get worse. Best we can do is try and get back in the top flight and at least show them up for the scum they are. They’ll be challenging in a couple of year. And will spend more this summer

You can imagine the clauses in these contracts. Will be mostly top secret of course.
He’s not the first player to have clauses in his contract. They all have them nowadays to cover their backs incase the shit hits the fan and it all goes pear shaped. If you’re ambitious you’d be daft not to.

How does my view on what they’ll do make me “soft” or even “hard”
I don’t really give a shit. I don’t support them. But it makes me cringe when people are clinging to the idea they won’t compete. As if scum like the Saudis are going to be happy with second place never mind fifth or fifteenth

I dont mean standard ones like relegation ones etc. With your sportswashed former club there'll be some unbelievable ones in there now. If they ever leak.....

No idea how good he is. That said if he was top class, or possibly English, he would be courted by City and Liverpool.
Newcastle aren't shopping in the same player pool as the likes of City, Liverpool or Chelsea.
As an poster said earlier it really is a shame when a team like AC Milan, offering Champions League football and a glorious heritage, lose out to simple cash.
Losing out to simply cash. It’s not a new thing mate. It happened when Chelsea, PSG and Man City got their sugar daddies aswell.

Were those sides beating the Italian Champions, be it Milan or Juve, to players when not offering European football?
If so i stand corrected. Still sad (if it is indeed the case) that wealthy players would rather chase yet more cash than play for a club of that standing.
