I thought it was just somehow the pure football forum who had somehow managed to turn this into a strange thread and link it to the Russian situation with the mags, but it isn't. Who would have thought it eh?

This situation is clearly interlinked to the mags due to the nature of their owner.

I hope this happens now. And they fuck off into it
Never going to happen.......the backlash English clubs got last time from fans probably surprised a few owners/chairmen who naively thought they could push it through, and it will be the same when it rears its ugly head again

I’m with you mate. I was appalled at the idea when the news broke just under a year ago but I’m all for it now. I absolutely hate the “big six” and Newcastle for what they’ve done / are doing to football.

Sky can fuck off as well. The self proclaimed moral arbiters of all things except pointing out where the money comes from to fund the next batch of mercenary footballers that they can wank over on deadline day.

They were all against it before
You know where they’ll be on it now

Were they against it? Or at the time were they not envious and criticising Ashley for taking them away from the top 6? I recall comparison's of Spurs and NUFC commercial revenues.

Thought long and hard about whether to pack in when they took over, but tbh, I did nowt about what happens over there then, and although I don’t like what happens, I still do nowt about it. I carry on supporting my club.
If however, they were to join a super league, I would rap in totally, without a doubt.

Killing kids in Yemen-ok,joining the super league-boooooooo!

Not one mention of what their despot owners are doing to Yemen. Just this joke of a quote. I hate Newcastle United & all that they stand for.

"Most importantly, however, let us also remember the suffering of the people of the Ukraine, Russian conscripts being immersed in the horrible situation of being forced to attack neighbours and particularly families who are separated and displaced."

The mags are a million miles behind Chelsea

A lot of their fans on social media today saying they’ll be ahead of them by 2024

They seem to think it’s the 90s and they can just “spent a couple of billion” and buy all the bestest players

I don’t think newcastle finish higher than chelsea in the next 10 years

Tariq loves getting stuck into the mags. The narrative now appears to be that twitter (Saudi flags, wishing owner happy birthday, celebrating KSA day etc.) is a false representation of the fan base....

Be interesting to see who buys them and how that impacts on their competitiveness moving forward.
