Spot on.

It's all so amateur!
Absolutely.

Speakman is an utter moron. He has shown he does not have a clue. Absolute cock.
Two weeks since Johnson was sacked and he is still fannying about trying to appoint a new Manager. We’ve blown two winnable games in that time and even if he appoints someone today or tomorrow , they have had no time with the players before our next game.
What an utter shitshow. It is just as bad, if not worse as when Del Boy & Salmon pants were in charge.

The truth hurts. Johnson should still be manager. We should have bought another centre half and a like for like back up striker for Stewart and we would have got promoted.
Johnson failed because of recruitment and injuries.
Club were never going to be able to attract and accommodate anyone any better qualified than him.
Club is a third division club in all respects bar the fans and facilities. Once you remove that the stark facts are credible people will not put their neck on the line to manage in such a high pressure/expectation environment.
Keane was never going to work IMO and we have probably saved ourselves a load of pain. But Iam disappointed with Keane for not seeing earlier it could not work.
The journey would have been exciting for a time Iam sure. Now completely deflated fans won’t give the new guy anytime not when you consider poor Mike Dodds hasn’t been given any understanding.
This has probably broken the back of the fan base for good. The mismanagement is criminal, and it was never Johnson to blame.
We could end up back where we were in early 70s
Johnson was useless with his tactics and team selection. He should have gone in the summer. Getting rid of him was the one thing the Club has got right in the past 10 days.

Speakmen with the recruitment and hanndling of the events over the past 10 days should also be out the door. It was likely going to be either Keane or him. The ownership have decided Speakmen.

However, I agree with you the events over the past week have probably broken the fan base for good. This was an opportunity to hire a high profile winner and we will end up with Gavin McCann.

Rightly or wrongly Ill not be renewing my season ticket. I have supported SAFC for over fifty years, mostly as a season ticket holder, and it hurts me to write that but I sense many many other fans will do the same and vote with their feet.

The Club have broken the fan base.

Went to bed reading comments about lights being on at LJ’s old house, lights being on at the SOL, and several of the ITK’s confirming Keane being appointed.

Woke up this morning to see Speakman has pissed off Keane and it’s now 2 horse race between McCann and Neil. How is this even possible?
Because Speakman is an utter 🔔end

Infrastructure. Stadium, academy set up etc.
It's all great mate. All good stuff. But lots of other clubs have all these things too.
My point is that it is our following that sets us apart from the rest at this level, and probably every club in the country, bar half a dozen or so. Nothing that makes us "massive" apart from us.

Hopefully Roy spills beans on the shambles he was thinking of joining.
I would love to hear Roy's views on the SAFC recruitment process.
It’s all conjecture until official statements are made by all parties. However I’m suggesting he bottled it as this seems to be a character trait he’s displayed in the past.
or he couldnt work with bluffers and chancers.

It's another problem we have of being a club in the north east. Cut off from the rest of the country and therefore have an idea and expectation of where we should be as opposed to the reality of where we are.
We should, in theory, be able to attract the right people to lead the club.
In reality we seem to be a twatmagnet.

Wow. Sunderland lose a game and its crushing. You need thicker skin

Regardless of everything I just don't see why we need a big name to get us out this league when clubs with a lesser name, budget, much lower wage bill and ground capacities far less have had no problem

Just tell me what they have done different?
You're not even reading what i'm saying and repeating yourself

you even started it with "Regardless of everything", just discarded everything i said and everything you can see and went back to your original dumb point.
