If he’s pulled out can’t blame him. Would you want to work with this shower?

He wont get a better job offer, clearly has no affiliation to the club

The instanct is to criticise the club here, and they wont be blameless, but at the end ofthe day, he didnt wanna come

fuck him

If manchester united get done for match fixing and are brought down to league one and cant get out for a couple of years, would you compare them to Rotherham? i'm not saying we are manchester united. But we certainly are not comparable with the others. You have no idea about football if you think we are the same. Everything is different, pressure, exposure, expectations and history. Sunderland lose a game, and it's crushing. Rotherham lose a game no one gives a fuck. You either don't know what you're talking about, or you're on a wind up.
Wow. Sunderland lose a game and its crushing. You need thicker skin

Regardless of everything I just don't see why we need a big name to get us out this league when clubs with a lesser name, budget, much lower wage bill and ground capacities far less have had no problem

Just tell me what they have done different?

It's all about opinions and there are plenty here but in a nutshell, he didn't want it on the terms available. Whether they were financial or operational doesn't matter. He's turned us down. I can't hammer the decision makers for deciding they didn't want to tear up their plan which I and thousands of others liked just a couple of weeks ago. I wanted Keane but that's gone now. Sad that many won't get behind the new appointment. I feel sorry for him and we will effectively be shooting ourselves in the foot if the stadium becomes toxic. Btw I'm not a club management plant just a long suffering fan of 57 years who wants to see some success while I'm still around.
