It's more than £30 as it was £330 last season in P2 for over 65 so it's gone up £75 quid.Just renewed mine in p2 over 65 £406 about £30 increase not bad.

It wasn’t going to be able to be put towards the following seasons season ticket unless you bought the season ticket outright.
Same here, but each to their own. I'd have a different view if it was Green Day, Rammstein, Foo Fighters, Muse, SLF, Siouxsie or Gary NumanThere's not a single one of those I'd pay money to see.
In fairness, there's a couple of them I'd probably pay money NOT to see.![]()
Have they now changed that?

I've got tickets for The Cure, in France, in the summer. Ooh! Look at me!![]()
I hoyed the current prices up in the other thread and even the NEW prices when broken down to per game prices aren't that. Some are focusing on the percentage yet compared to other Premier League teams even our NEW prices aren't that bad.I don't think £35 is too bad, it's when you have kids to take as well though, it becomes a £100 a match event, with travel, food etc
I got free tickets years ago to see your hero Dylan at the Arena he was on less than an hour!Festivals are a totally different kettle of fish to a touring band's gig.
Things cost what they do because costs are higher. Some people need to get out of the dark ages.
And I've not seen many touring bands do less than 90 minutes mind.
Fair enough and it's a great way to spend the day with your kid. It's not that long ago my adult ticket and three kids tickets came to around £450-500 a year and that was amazing value. Obviously kids grow up though, and they're all now in the U22 price category. All of us are in the cheap seats and I just forked out £1346 to renewCurrently I'd always renew, but I'm in a very fortunate position where the price isn't a massive issue. At the minute I think it's decent enough value as well, my seat works out about £30 a game or so which I don't mind, and the bairns ticket is about a fiver. Took the bairn bowling a while ago, 2 adults and a kid and spent more for less time, and it was just a daft game of bowling not watching the best football teams in England.
Yeah I'm lucky that I've only got the one to pay for, and he's still u14 for next season and the one after. So I think my renewal was £640 or something. Which is a lot, but people spend easily twice that on an annual holiday if they have to go in holiday times and, personally, I get much, much better memories taking my lad to 19 matches than I do sitting around a pool with him or whatever! Timing is good as well, March is when I get my bonus so I just pay it in full and consider it part of that, I'd only put it in my pension pot otherwise!Fair enough and it's a great way to spend the day with your kid. Just hoping they'll soon be paying their own way, but if the increases continue at this pace the next couple of years could be a challenge.
Pull your foreskin ower your heed!. If at first you don't succeed....
I wouldn't make any memories sitting round a pool eitherYeah I'm lucky that I've only got the one to pay for, and he's still u14 for next season and the one after. I know, I wouldn't choose to do it either. But the bairn doesn't enjoy anything more adventurous and I don't want to drag him around hikes or whatever when he'd rather not be there. When he's older I'll start doing more interesting trips again (did plenty before he came along) but for now he just wants warm places with a pool, a McDonald's, and preferably some water slidesI wouldn't make any memories sitting round a pool either. There's a big world to see out there!

Great workI hoyed the current prices up in the other thread and even the NEW prices when broken down to per game prices aren't that. Some are focusing on the percentage yet compared to other Premier League teams even our NEW prices aren't that bad.
The bottom 3 tables show the average price per game and you can see for UBERS adults it's £29 to £38, £30 to £40 for the 2023'ers and £32 to £43 for the NEW. NEW are still cheaper than what Match Day fans pay as it's £36 for a yellow section isn't it?
You've also got to consider we've been out of the Premier League all that time and even had a reduction when first relegated. If we'd been in the Premier League all the time then prices may well have been higher than the NEW are now.

Yes, I like it just being gone so I don't have to remember it's coming out every month. Might as wellDoes anybody actually pay it off in one go, when there's 6 months interest-free credit available via direct debits?
If so, why?![]()
I've normally done the DD in the past but had the dosh available this time (even though it's gone up a lot) and decided I didn't want the hassle of checking it's gone out correctly each time, or worse still having to deal with our ticket office to rectify problems. Yes, I could have kept the money in a savings account instead and earned about £20 in interest but honestly the peace of mind is worth more.Does anybody actually pay it off in one go, when there's 6 months interest-free credit available via direct debits?

Again you will be nowhere near and this is just scaremongering IMO by adding 20% on each season. I posted a rough estimate for next season in another thread using 15%. Thinking again I'd expect another 20% next season to bring prices more into line with the NEW prices this season. That's if they don't keep the loyalty tiering as this season is just a one off. You've got £1,140 come 2030/32 and I'm at £840 which is £42 a game in 5 years time.Oh FFS
Final attempt:
25/26 £460
26/27 £550
27/28 £660
28/29 £792
29/30 £950
30/31 £1140
Hopefully you are right with your 5% in the longer term. I wasn't really suggesting 20% increase every year was very likely, more showing how it doesn't take many years of those kind of increases to become unaffordable and reach £1K before long, even in the cheap seats. But even this year's 20% and the same again next year might be too much for many. I expect I'll continue to suck it up thoughAgain you will be nowhere near and this is just scaremongering IMO by adding 20% on each season. There's no way your 20% every season would happen as the club would probably expand at some point anyway. They'll be looking at making for more money via corporate than milking the less affluent fans. By expanding and improving corporate and match day experience it means more seats for fans overall and probably keeping seat prices within reach of most fans and closer to the German model rather than the "Who pays the most gets the seats". I'm sure the club realises that kids need looking after and by pricing out future fans and losing 2 fans (parent+child, possibly more if more kids in family).
This starts with last season early birds renewal for this season 2025/26 on the left and price per game on right. It then has this season early birds renewal in next set of tables. The 20 is the rise of 20% but following seasons are a 5% rise and so on until 2030/32.
