Like everything that costs a decent amount, I find it easier to justify if it isn't in isolation.
Bit like a tyres or a service for a car, the outlay is painful but I've got to try and rationalise it as part of the overall car owning, or it would make me cry or even gan Michael Douglas in Falling Down but at Kwik Fit rather than Whammy Burger.
Same with a ST - whatever the cost of the ticket, I lump in with the pre and post match cost.
£50 for 90 mins of footy could sound expensive, but £100 for a day might be easier to justify.....if you want to of course...some will thrive on the outrage of the club daring to charge Premier League Prices.
Saying all that - nee amount of justification helps if you can't afford to do it, and that must be tough especially if you've sat through the shitty years.

Yeah, although for me the average cost per game is still ok, a 20% rise is a bit steep when they're telling us loyalty is being rewarded.
The wifes ticket only went up 4.5%.
