Just doesn’t say on the report that’s all.Why wouldn't they assuming there's enough room
I've seen it full at Thornaby @Disco_Pants93Just doesn’t say on the report that’s all.
Usually plenty of room when I get on, it’s starts getting lively at Hartlepool
Don’t think so mate think it’s just a new express service every 2 hours that stops only at boro, Thornaby, Hartlepool, Sunderland and Saudi ArabiaWonder if they still stop at Billingham?
Is this the work that was meant to be done in time for the tall ships? You must be logged on to see external links
Twelve new services will be operated by Northern between the two stations, starting on Sunday, December 10. Bit of a confusing article
when the article says this -
A new faster two-hourly train service is being introduced between Middlesbrough and Newcastle.
Does that mean there'll be now 2 trains every hour OR there is a new train every 2 hours.......
That’s what I thought till Hank shot me downDon’t think so mate think it’s just a new express service every 2 hours that stops only at boro, Thornaby, Hartlepool, Sunderland and Saudi Arabia
its poorly wrote.....it can mean both as people on here are provingThat’s what I thought till Hank shot me down
so
its poorly wrote.....it can mean both as people on here are proving
1. express tran evry 2 hours
2. extra train meaning 2 every hour
With the article also saying 12 extra services im going for option 2......an extra train tweleve times a day..,eaning there ll be 2 hourly trains....but shoot me down too if thats wrong
right so the normal service is still there and then 6 times a day(both directions) an extra train runs but doesnt stop at staions such as Horden/Seaham.......im not usually this thick but this has me baffledOther way round, there's 6 express services (assume equal) in each direction doing Newcastle - Sunderland - Hartlepool (when complete) - Thornaby - Middlesbrough. Runs every 2 hours.
It's a replacement for the Stillington line, Middlesbrough - Thornaby - Durham - Newcastle service which was planned.
Correct (I think)right so the normal service is still there and then 6 times a day(both directions) an extra train runs but doesnt stop at staions such as Horden/Seaham.......im not usually this thick but this has me baffled
Don't have a service to Hetton.Journalism at its best i see.
Tbf the Northern Rail website info is utterly shite as well.
Glad it’s not just me who is struggling to make sense of itso

So what’s happening then? You always seem pretty clued up about the railway. Are you part of a passenger focus group? A disgruntled ex/current employee. A failed manager??Yeah pretty much, it's so they can brag there's a service under an hour between Newcastle and Middlesbrough no doubt.

Or the one that picks up,the fans that can’t get on the quick train cause it’s rammedA train every 2 hours. However, in between those 2 hours I'd expect the 'slow' train, i.e. the one that calls at every station, to still operate.
