Northern trains

What yous think a properly ran club wouldnt give its supporters travel updates like?
I think you should be responsible for yourself and not have to rely on others to make decisions.

Just the Grand Central running tomorrow.
10:30 Eaglescliffe
10:49 Hartlepool
11:14 Sunderland

Return
17:30 Sunderland

Got a feeling it’ll be packed with it being the only train on.

£10.20 Return.

You can purchase onboard so I’ll be hoping for a free journey.
The 10:30 has been cancelled
Public transport is an absolute joke!

I agree but its pretty standard for any gig/event to inform of any complications, our lot make it a minefield just to get a fecking ticket.

The non football side is just an absolute mess at the minute.

Information about travel and problems is so easy to find for yourself, you shouldn’t need anyone to provide you with the information.

So people keep saying about the tickets but haven’t had an issue with buying season cards or tickets for today (and the other UK friendlies) and distributing them.

Really? You never normally pay!

oh shite - just seen this!
Pleased I dodged this now, how you getting up then?
It’s only a couple of quid so didn’t begrudge paying it this time mate 😂

Just going to drive up I think. Annoying as I was going to have a few pints today. Feel sorry for those who were relying on the trains as they had plans. So unreliable. Piss poor

I agree mate but just feel its standard elsewhere. I spoke to C Waters years ago about the shitty train service we endure, suggested the club push for better service on matchdays or could even fund one train themselves. Hes a great lad n encouraged me to set up a branch but simply dont have the time.

The ticketing issues mate are obvious in the top threads. Club could have answered everyones queries months ago but appear to have gone into hiding.

Aye I did want to go today, but the 1030 train was just to early for me to get sorted!

Bus stops only 100m from my house n still looks an ordeal. Change at Peterlee, nor yer alright ill play golf instead. 😂
When we changed at Peterlee, had 30 min wait for next bus, no pub in area would let kids in
Better off changing at Dalton Park, if you ever fancy doing it - not that id recomend mind!
I think if it was a league game id make more effort but not today.
Enjoy golf, hope the rain stops!

We play pools on Tuesday don't we

Thanks mate.

Been looking at 23 actually. About 65 minutes from the house.
Prob takes 50 mins to get to station, wait n use train.
May be an option if these twats carry on striking on matchdays.
