Northern trains

Just checked and it isn't running! Wonderful 🤦🏼‍♂️

Hanging around for an extra 40 minutes for the northern train then

Anyone got the bus from Middlesbrough before?
There's a Northern train to Whitby, which leaves Sunderland just after 5pm.
To make this train, my mates wake me from my coma, and I have to leave the match on 80-85 minutes.

Earliest I could get over to the town would be 5:10 I reckon. Don’t want to leave the game early.

Got this from GC
We are running trains on our Sunderland route this Saturday, but it will be a reduced service due to the extended journey times. This is because of trains having to take a longer route to allow engineering work to be completed. ^Ross

Bus to Dalton park from the interchange x6, 61/62 ( not the wheatsheaf) change at Dalton park to the X10.

There's a pub opposite the bus stop at Dalton for a toilet break.

Bit longer than the train but very convenient for billingham, Norton, Stockton and Boro.

Was at Seaburn metro station at 6:15 this morning and can confirm a 4-carriage northern train headed south. Dunno if this will be on all day. There was only a couple of people on it.

Probably just shedded overnight in Newcastle or somewhere. Probably heading down to Teesside for work on the Boro- Whitby route. I know when I have been stood at Horden, waiting to head North, I have seen trains going South to Whitby 4 carriages long.
