Northern trains on Saturday​

Update from Northern Trains.

On Saturday November 27, all trains between Sunderland and Middlesbrough will be cancelled until at least midday.

Additionally, trains will be cancelled between Bridlington and Scarborough all day.

Customers are advised not to travel between these stations as no replacement transport will be provided.

Not tried it before so looking for advice, how easy is it to catch the 10pm train back to Stockton after a night game (not tomo, next weeks game so 1945 KO)?
Ill prob have kids (10+13) with me, is it a mad rush and then packed??

Midweeks tend to be ok mate.

its my birthday that, ill be on it!

Aye since Amys closed me n kids always head there before train back, beers, crisps n sweets galore!

Wouldn't bank on the new shop. Open at times but then just seems to randomly close.

Is Finlay’s the one opposite where Burger King was? That’s where I normally go for stuff for on the way back.


The only worry about the train is if it’ll run or not! Especially if it’s the last one.

As per real-time trains

Its a start , a step in the right direction, well done to all concerned, but still more needs to be done. The foot is in the door now, by putting on extra trains, they are admitting there is a problem, the pressure now needs to be kept up.

They did this last month and then reverted back to 2 carriages the next home game 😁

This also means I'll have to pay today 😞

Like I’ve posted previously they used to have ticket inspections at the top of the stairs once you got to gods country years agan if you didn’t have a ticket you had to pay the amount of peoole claimed they got on at Seaham was unreal 😂

don’t kna why they took the inspections off least Northern got some money back
