Seaham Murton, Easington Murton, Horden Murton when I was at school

Then even in Murton you had Wembley another Station didn't seem to like each other, and even Murton primary v the Jubilee school end of term fracas and the schools were only 100 yards apart

He must have softened a little later on as he played football for Chilton WMC on a Sunday morning in between levelling folk in the cage. Legs like tree trunks would be an understatement. Always came across as all right whenever I've met him. Never been the wrong side of him fortunately though.
Played against him s few times and tbh was a decent lad and never a bully despite his huge size. Surprisingly quick as well.
Best nights of my youth going to chilton club and then bishop on a Friday night. Decent lads and tbf was always a lot more safc red n white .
