Big game, no chance of a call off as there hasn't been much rain.

Walking down Mortimer Road yesterday and saw a house which once had red n white safc garden gnomes, now full of claret and blue gnomes and even a photo of Scroggins in amongst the rose bushes. Great to see.

Should be a very tough game this. I remember watching these two play this time last year (well it was August iirc) and Shields clung on for a 2-2 draw, despite Blyth taking off all their best players once they went 2-1 up (after being a goal down) as it was a pre season game so they werent taking it seriously, but Shields were. A lad called Turnbull gave them an absolutely torrid time, scoring two and wasnt even wearing any boots.

Edit: Thats if it doesnt get called off.
