Covent Garden was class but a nightmare to get a drink. We had to head back towards Trafalgar to get one, with a load of Sunderland whizzing past on Rickshaws, singing constantly.
Trafalgar was even better though, bumped into Zammo from Grange Hill in a boozer up the road. Nice fella, I seem to remember.
I offered to buy him a pint but he just said no .

Cracking being able to grab a refreshment and getting change from a pound. Love non league footy

I did chuckle yesterday, the PA fella before the match kept reiterating that should the match be a draw the game against Blyth on Tuesday would be cancelled. Must have said it about 5 or 6 times. Soon as half time went he reminded everyone there was a game on Tuesday against Blyth

14 teams left in the northern section of the draw, 8 with possibly another northern league team still in it , draw on monday at 1pm.

I'd put money on there being a few all northern league ties. I'm convinced that the powers that be are getting a bit sick of the NL dominance and like to knock out as many as possible.

I actually really enjoyed the game. Had a craic on with loads of lads, all of which were ex Sunderland supporters. Tons of them had stopped watching Sunderland and only watch Shields now because of our shit form.

Well bearing in mind people were respectfully asked not to go to Trafalgar square and probably around 12,000 adhered to it.
Other than missing out the little bit of info crack on.

Lies

There were you?

That's a lot of Jocks that are disrespectful - disgraceful really. We were asked not to go and didn't.

i was talking about a few years back not now, and i would prefer a crowd of 80 than the non league you are referring to, the further down the pyramid the more i prefer it

Reminds me of Woking & when Geoff Chapple first took over in the early 80s when they were struggling in the 8th tier iirc & got a crowd of 86 vs Clapton for a league game.

Over the past 30 years I reckon I knar at least 500 different people who (claim they) were all that day
