Non League Football

Crook Town 0 Bishop Auckland 1.
Heaton Stannington 2 Shildon 1.

Bishop edging away towards the Northern League title.
They were second bottom when Chris Hardy took over in October 22
I think a few of bishops team dropped back to NL from the NPL as they didn’t like the travelling. Be interesting to see if they stay if promoted.

Great win.
Ashington missed a great chance to go 2-0 up and were good value at that point but once Hebburn equalised the momentum shifted and it was one way traffic for the rest of the game.
Top lad Jamie. Big Sunderland fan and Heed legend.

Met him in Fitzies once before a Sunderland midweek game when he was still playing for Gateshead.
Seems to have been around forever.

Great win.
And came from behind. Will need another good season from Purewel if they go. Olly Martin scored a nice goal. Thought the attendance, at just over 300 wasn't great Consett brought a few up and there were the usual neutrals. This team deserve better from the locals. The facilities are first class for the level they are at.

They do. They have the biggest junior section in the north east and all the kids get a free season ticket but there are very few in attendance and I don't really know why. Hebburn is one big housing estate now so there are plenty newcomers to the area. Some of the midweek crowds have barely reached 200. They are on an incredible streak and need two more wins but the pressure is on. Stockton are a fine side and will surely win the play offs if they don't make it up as Champions.

Come on Hereford...Bring on Ronnie Radford!!!!!.....Quite fancied a trip to Chorley to see Shields in the play offs!!! Looking very unlikely now...

Might go and see the Gatesheed Baldies at Solihull instead

Shields 3 up
Spenny 2 up
Boston 1 up
Curzon level
Shields need a goal at Hereford or Bishop Stortford to get into the playoffs.

Blyth need a miracle to stay up.

Boston now 2 up. Shields Looking out of it now.

Better today ! Just checked ... over 600 today ... probably no away fans. Agree with your post. Amazing kids section. That and the all week bar/ function takings are raking in a bit of cash as well. Will be playing Blyth next season if ...
Fair play to that Blyth owner, he's got them out the league quicker than expected
Ouch !!
