we're always in a relegation battle. it's who we are, it's what we do. and it's f***ing shit. Its a marathon, a really massive one, and not a sprint. That said, we really are in a relegation battle.
Just have to beat the likes of Boro if we want to stay up...whoops.[/QUOTE
we said that the last few seasons after early games gainst the likes of Norwich, Bournemouth, Leicester , QPR, Fulham etc and still stayed up
If we stay up, it'll be because there is three really bad teams in the prem.
Doesn't surprise me mate.People shouting Moyes out on the south west corner. Embarrssing
That is because it the same every season and we all get a sick of it. However, many of the points he makes are correct - Everton are a very good side.We were f***ing shite mate, meltdowns are totally deserved tonight.
I left today more pissed off than I've been in ages.
Shit I've been to the wrong game again. We matched a very good side until the opening goal (in fact we had them under pressure just before they broke and got the first) and bumped into a top class forward.
The centre half pairing are good, as will be the midfield two of Kerchoff and NDong once they get going. Look a bit light weight in the attacking sense but with Defoe we always have a chance.
Each season our aim is to stay in the division and I'm still confident we can finish 17th when you look at the teams in the division.
This is probably as good as it will get injury wise - they are part of the game and that's one reason why clubs need squads.I am saying this with all due respect to the OP , am sorry I couldn't disagree more we should never have put in this position , once again by the time we have all our players fit we will be adrift at the bottom .
I'll probably get stick and told it didn't happenDoesn't surprise me mate.
Don't think we matched them at any point tonight.
I'll take your word for it.I'll probably get stick and told it didn't happenwasn't just one guy shouting it either
Everton are a solid side and seem to be a good fit for Koeman.
Wouldn't be surprised to see them finish top 6 this year.
Just put this game to bed and regroup for Sunday.
They're good, will have a class season. But for Moyes out to be said by people already sums up the mess of a club we are.I'll take your word for it.
Anyone who wants moyes out right now is an idiot. Seriously we were bad but Everton are a very good sidem
