Nissan


That does not bode well at all :(
I just hope Nissan have a new popular car coming soon as the Chinese options are getting more popular and are a worry regarding the long term future of many mid to low badged car manufacturers.

I read BYD FOR INSTANCE have a transporter that ships 9200 around the world so distance is less of a factor.

We as a city / region need less dependence on 1 or 2 industries

Have you seen some of those byd cars? I think there’s one called seal, looks very impressive for The price
 
When you look back when Hyundai n Kia cars first come to the UK they were a cheaper option which few touched n no doubt plummeted in value after a few years. The same with Dacia n MG since being Chinese owned it n look at their models now which are more n more a popular choice in the UK.
I’m sure Hyundai n Kia are one of the best in reliability stakes in the car game also.
So can see why other Chinese makes are starting to appear in the UK.

Quick question for people working at Nissan, who get the car from the scheme. What's your opinion actually on the new Qashqai, as we need to get a car on motability that fits a wheelchair easily and at the moment it seems like the best option?
