The grid is being ramped up now. Yes, there is work to be done, but we’ll see continuation of the charging stations which are popping up all over. Not in six years time. Twenty maybe.
Not an expert here but I’m gonna say no, worst case for the bank they repossess the house and recoup money.
Banks make money through lending money
It’s like when an old bloke had to change to a iPhone from a Nokia 2210It isn't like petrol stations at all though is it? Keeping hearing this people just need educated or they are some kind of extremist for opposing EVs, top and bottom is people just don't want them which they are perfectly entitled not to do.
Loads of the new electric cars can charge from 0-80% in 18 minutesI think this is why the infrastructure and battery life is as important as the car.
We live in a Mews house. We have a garage and a driveway but it’s in a shared courtyard away from the house (Think they call in en bloc).
The Tesla Superfast chargers that get them to 90% in 15 minutes are fine. I’d happily go and park up in a petrol station and do that if it gave me 300 miles and I only needed to do it every 2 weeks.
But aside from Tesla the Superfast chargers don’t exist and most cars can’t do 300 miles on a charge so then you are more into an hour every week if you can’t charge at home which is a lot less appealing.
BMW did recently bring in wireless charging plates that you just pushed under the front of the car but think that’s early tech (And not sure how you would stop someone nicking them)
aye, your walking along minding your own business, and bosch, massive cable hits your head as old Doris forgot to plug the other end in and its fell out of the window.Imagine all the claims going in for trips and falls from all the cables across the paths from all those 1000's of terraced cottages we have in Sunderland alone. Thats without the fact that nearly all the council/former council homes on estates have no drives.
it wouldn't be automatic, it would require the advisor to pick up on it and send to an underwriter.Just out of interest; reading about the car industry and companies like Nissan having execs saying they have 12 make-or-break months...
...say, if you were applying for a mortgage or whatever, would the banks look at the firm you're working for and reject the application based on the stability of the business?
At the metro centre now was a row of about 20 chargers only 1 getting used you don’t need to charge it every single time you go somewhere that’s what people need to get their heads around . Charge anxiety is actually a real condition they are trying to get people over

Zero lies. Real word experience from ICE and EV ownership. If you're going to make valid points about EV's try not to lie.
I barely ever queue at a filling station, certainly less than one time out of 10. Unless there's some kind of panic, less than once a year there's never long queues.
I fill up at Sainsbury's, always use pay at the pump (loads of people don't?) and it takes 2 minutes. It's far more convenient than charging an EV in public.
The government need to bail out EV's because people like me just don't want to drive one. If they set unrealistic targets they need to basically bribe the public to buy them.
Confirmed ??All stand in TLs and Svs being stood down, plant wide.
Start of new year. Had it confirmed by 5 si's now. Just ask anyone stood upConfirmed ??
Praying for the temps now, awful timing
Hope you’re right would be a disaster for a lot of people if Nissan went underHeard that a certain production manager has told people today in a managers meeting that all jobs are safe
They're probably in the stats as not being able to charge at home when in fact the majority could quite easily.Thats without the fact that nearly all the council/former council homes on estates have no drives.
Great newsHeard that a certain production manager has told people today in a managers meeting that all jobs are safe
