EVs overtook petrol sales in Europe for the first time in December.Diesel sales in Europe in 2025 were only 7.7% (5.5% in the UK) but they'll keep knocking out diesel vans for a good while yet.A quick check on Autotrader shows diesels are struggling,13% of all the new cars available are diesels yet they're only accounting for 5.4% of all sales and falling month on month.

Some people don’t even finish until 5.30 onwards and can work a lot later if reggae be finishing for 4 and that’s at the latest some days 3 I’d rather get it out the way and have a longer night
Makes sense mate just don’t kid yourself you’ve got it easy. Nissan isn’t what it may feel like when you get 30 years down the line and you’re crippled and maybe have a few quid pay off. Build your own business and stand on your own 2 feet. Nissan imo is a trap get lads in good wage get them ticked up to their nips and hold them there for 30 years. I’ll get Pelters for saying the above maybe even threatened and abused which I had before but I stand by my opinion

Battery factory had a bit of a rocky start, had some teething issues, meant a large portion of them batteries had to be held and not released while QA went through pictures.

Thats been sorted now and they are fine for release and line 2 starts today.

Also going to be a lot of overtime available, so I think production will ramp up big time. So I would guess Nissan will be getting some batteries lol

That's great, at least we'll get some normality instead of all these shit rumours saying recap, stand downs etc. Not knowing where we are from one day to next. Get some money for May shutdown.

They told us in trim that they weren’t coming in from paint shop. Half hour early bait. 3 and a half hour last session is a joke.
