Isn't good like
Pay negotiations will be whitewash
They can say there's fuck all in the pot
Keep your jobs
Talks another time in future

Its not legal requirement to have a pay deal been saying this last few months no money in the pot the big cheese in japan pay cut cant se nissan uk getting one

Looks like sadly they are in for a few years of struggle. Was reading auto blog and it was saying most of their problems are self inflicted.

They can’t compete in China because they are years behind the local competitors in terms of tech and features. And in the US they are miles behind Hyundai and Kia because they don’t have hybrids and it said the one car that might be appealing, the Ariya, is too expensive for the market because they are making it in Japan and it doesn’t benefit from the federal subsidies.

Also said they had completed screwed up historically on build and now had huge inventories not shifting.

Obviously only the view of a few motor industry experts but sounds like the lads on the shop floor are paying the price for poor strategic decisions (As always the case)

Rested on their laurels they think they can just stick some colour coded bumpers and new wheels on old cars and they will continue to sell! they needed to sack the old models off totally and bring out something new and exciting like when the quashqai first came out! it excited people. It’s an old car now every tom dick and Harry’s either had one or got one

Sounds bleak as fuck like
Surely can't be that bad a scenario
At this rate can see hundreds of nissan ex workers on museum steps
Drinking bottles of Frosty Jack's and eating noddles talking about the good old days
With the occasional bus 🚌 going past pippin it's horn
And all lads cheering with frosty Jack's bottles raised in acknowledgement!!
