I saw some stats from the game which did not paint him a good light but from what I saw he looked full of running and energy. Looks like he's getting up to speed with the physical side of the PL. Tracked back and pushed up the pitch all game. Going to be a decent player as he's improving game on game.

Fair enough mate it might be. I haven’t seen any of the TV footage, had a few beers inside me and could have been clouded by his previous couple of games.

Regardless of my opinion of him on Tuesday I wouldn’t be writing a player off that early as Traore improved after a poor start.

We’ll see in time how he pans out. I still haven’t discounted Mundle being a useful PL player even though he’s played loads more.
 
I also like the fact that despite all the tenacity and graft he has a very calm demeanor. The lad looks unflappable, like his concentration on winning won't allow him to get distracted by bad referee decisions or getting kicked. He just gets right back up and back to scrapping for the ball. I wish some of our other players would learn from his example.
 
Worried me when we signed a winger and all the plaudits where about how he defends really well.

Couldn’t beat a man, couldn’t cross and passed everything backwards. 20 million :eek:
 
Thought he was our only decent player first half but second half went down to everyone else's level, not going to write him off when the manager is more concerned with the defensive part of a winger then it's always going to be a struggle for a winger to do much going forward.

Needs to pass it every now and again . Was probably our best player today .. was a really low bar though
