Nilson Angulo

Plenty of promise but not as close to the type of player I'd hoped we were bringing in. Grafted well last night but needs to calm down a bit when on the ball (not that Leeds made it easy on him).

Is he much of an step-up on Mundle and Adingra? Not for me. I'd have Talbi ahead of him every time.
I think it's always advisable to let these types of creative players bed in before making a judgement. I remember Stéphane Sessègnon looking sketchy when he turned up.

Don't disagree, that's why I said plenty of promise.

Was impressed with his first couple of games and he's obviously learning about the pace and physicality of the league. Confidence has to be a big part of the wingers game and hope he doesn't lose that as he adapts... or goes the way of Mundle who wants to take the full-back on every time and mostly ends up losing it.

Talbi cannot do shit on the right, so why compare to Angulo. There's no comparison.

Drafted well but he ain't going to cause teams too much trouble. We need goals from midfield badly and the strikers obviously, but barring pens it's now 1 goal from open play in 6.It doesn't look like it's going to get much better for the remainder of the season.

I'm actually hoping that now we've hit that magical 40 points mark that RLB will let the shackles off a bit and let the Lads go and try and play. They've said all along that this point (hitting 40 points) was the first target. Now, play with a bit of freedom and let the likes of Diarra, Angulo, Talbi etc go and show their natural side of the game.

Put a shift in defensively. Decision making/execution poor on the few occasions we were able to attack. Early days.

Ah well, back to sleep for you ! 🤣

I remember when Brobbey arrived and he was taking heavy touches and getting the ball stuck under his feet when we were trying to counter. Let Angulo get settled in and his quality will come through, especially if he plays with the attitude he showed last night.

Second only to Alderete last night for me. Work rate was unreal. Tbf to the lad he's took more people on successfully in three games than i can remember any of our wingers have all season. The end product will hopefully come with better understanding of his teammates.

He put some graft in last night mind. Wonder if RLB gets Talbi back in for the weekend or lets Angulo have a decent run.

Any news on Traore after last night?

In the first few minutes he burnt their left back. The first time should have resulted in a booking. He was clearly pulled back and it should have been an automatic yellow card
