Akheem Mesidor is the dream for me. 25yo rookie but looks class, not a fit for everyone given his age but ideal for a win-now team (weird saying that as a Bears fan)

It'll be interesting if he's gone because we could end up reaching. Most analysts don't have any DTs with first round grades (although I personally like Peter Woods' upside). I'd also be surprised if they went Tackle because I get the impression they want to give Ozzy a shot long-term, and with him injured for the year, they've already went out and signed two bandaid LTs in free agency

If there's no pass rush at 25, I could see them going defensive backfield - probs a Safety

Yeah I can see them going safety too depending on whose left on the board.

Left tackle worries me though as Braxton Jones is back in the mix to start and Ozzy might end up missing all of next season. Trading back could be an option as i wouldn’t want them to be reaching to fill a position of need. I can’t see them being keen to trade up either.
 
Thinking I'll watch tonights picks tomorrow afternoon. Going to head out on my kayak in the morning and then put it all on when I get home

I'm not sure, they royally messed up whatever it was they were doing. These draft picks need to be perfect for them to be close to average.
They'll be heavily relying on the run game whatever happens, with Achane and the new QB Willis doing most of it

Lad at work follows the Dolphins. He says the coaches all wanted Herbert but the GM overruled them and went for Tua.

Lot of money come in on Reese to be number 2 pick. Gone from about 7/5 about 7pm to 4/11 now. Bailey upto about 2/1.

Might mean nowt, but in my experience when the odds shift dramatically on draft there's often smoke (remember the Mayfield drop in particular).

Had a feeling it'd be Bailey. They want a now player. Will get many many sacks but won't stop the run.

Hopefully a WR at 16!

Well I was going to go out on my kayak, put the draft on as I came downstairs and haven't moved. Tennessee just made their pick (4th) and about to announce it
 
Didn't see that coming, Kayden Proctor. Was fully expecting them to go after Ruben Bain with a few others linked dropped
 
Happy with Olavavega Ioane at guard for the Ravens. Had him in most the mocks. Best guard in the 1st round for me. Just what Lamar and DHenry needed!

Still need a starting centre.
 
Dolphins fans aren't happy, they wanted Downs at safety (as the ones they have are shite) and traded down for him and a couple of late fifth round picks. Then they didn't go for Bain (when they have shite pass rushers) grabbing a tackle who has issues staying in shape when they have 2 tackles who can do an ok job already.
Second pick they traded up for a CB who was regarded as the second best one left (ESPN ranked him 6th positionally and only one had already been picked before) on the board and gave away a third round pick to do so.

All feels very familiar to the previous GM's days making baffling choices that nobody understands, time will tell I guess.

Hate to say it but Giants have had 2 banging picks. Had the chance for Sonny Styles but took Reece instead. And Mauigoa is huge. Loved his tapes.

Lots of Dolphins fans are also annoyed (on top of being annoyed they didn't for for Downs or Bain) they went for a lineman and got Proctor instead of him as they needed a guard far more than a tackle

Mauigoa was on a lot of mock drafts as going to the Dolphins but obviously went a little earlier. That Styles looks a superb player

In the family for Sonny Styles. Father was in the NFL, twin is in this draft too.

Yeah, the Cardinals messed most peoples mocks up. They went straight for the jugular with RB Love at 3. No f***ing about, best player in the draft? I'll have me some of that! Bosh!
- Dare I say, the Browns' first 2 picks are very sensible? Fano looks a beast and Concepscion has a canny good highlight reel.

Just been reading a few more comments from Dolphins fans and they are now furious Aikman has been involved with them. They gave the Cowboys their 11th pick for a 12th and two late fifth round picks while the Cowboys gave their worse 20th pick for the 23rd and 2 fourth round picks. They aren't happy the Cowboys got two fourth rounders while they got two late fifth rounders for a higher pick
