The only way out of the piss take is to field our U21s and give a Level playing field.
If the roles were reversed we'd be pulling the piss big time. They have the upper hand in this one,
The mags won’t be in our end, but I have huge doubts about the policing.
A few years ago, the cowards were jumping off Metros and punching granddads before running back on the trains to a chorus of cheers from the other softcocks. I fully expect there to be hell on across the metro system and a lot of innocent people - who are probably just traveling home from work - will be caught up in it.
If we have sold 8,000 that is not many but at least it’s a few more at this stage than I would have expected. Will get round to getting mine in the new year, hopefully a few more of us will do likewise.
The problem is, the profile of their support at this will be very different to the high point holding loyal away fans that follow them around the country. This will be very much a feral crowd of social media driven youth; brave in numbers, cowardly alone. It's a recipe for disaster and imho we have already offered too many tickets.
Man up man. It’s a game to be won, it’ll come and goReally wish this game wasn't taking place.
It would but it's not the match they want to see its the fact that they can travel freely taking the piss with anyone they come across and do some damage to the stadium with impunity. The plod won't have a clue how to handle the pathetic little *****Simple solution would be to allow them to screen the game at Sid James' at their own cost if they are so desperate to see it.
I'm surprised at the police. It was only a few year back that they wouldn't let us both play at home on the same night. It's obviously a nice earner for them too.
