Much to the surprise and perhaps even disappointment of some of those taking that decision. I still think they did that to give us and them enough rope to hang ourselves and then it simply didn't happen.

Just proved without a police line most don't want in.

I know of a good few taking a half day for this. Anywhere near metro stations is the aim apparently.

Metros will probably be fucked anyway.

They'll probably pull their time-honoured mag stunt of waiting till about 2 minutes before kick off when everyone's in the ground then a bunch of them will arrive and have a couple of digs at isolated latecomers. Then in their eyes they'll have took the piss.

Took the South Stand iirc.

No one has said we will, we can only make 5 changes to the last league game line up so the majority will be.

It's actually at least 4 from either the starting 11 of the proceeding match or the following match. However, you only get fined up to £5K if you don't.

We didn't actually achieve 4 against Notts County in the last round. Only Oviedo, O'Nien and Power started in the previous game at Walsall in the cup and only Power played in the league at Accrington. However, the league can't exactly complain if we win 2-0 with a slightly understrength side.

I wouldn't be surprised if we play only 3 or 4 again as we have a fairly big squad and some decent players need game time.

Don’t we *have* to play a certain percentage of our first team squad?

7.3 Each EFL Club shall play its Full Available Strength in and during all Matches. Full Available Strength means the EFL Club must include at least four Qualifying Players in the ten outfield Players named in the starting eleven on the Team Sheet.

7.4 Qualifying Player means any Player who:

7.4.1 had started the immediately preceding First Team Fixture (as defined below);

7.4.2 subsequently starts the immediately following First Team Fixture;

7.4.3 is in the list of ten Players at the Club with the highest number of starting appearances in First Team Fixtures in the same Season;

7.4.4 has made forty or more starting appearances in First Team Fixtures or international equivalents (and not limited to the same Club or Season); or

7.4.5 is on standard loan from a Premier League Club or any EFL Club operating a Category One Academy.

7.5 First Team Fixture means the League Competition, Premier League, EFL Cup or FA Challenge Cup (but shall, in the context of Rules 7.4.3 and 7.4.4 only, also include this Competition).

7.6 Any EFL Club failing to meet the requirement to play Full Available Strength will be required to pay a fine of up to £5,000.

No Way Should we let them have more tickets, they don't give a crap about their U23s, they only want one thing and that is trouble and probably start ripping up chairs and throwing them again, they should get 500 tickets max and a heavy police escort So they can't start with our fans.
Its only going to attract a massive amount of knob heads nothing good can come out of this game

be madness to give them more tickets considering the policing costs and damage they'll cause to the stadium

they've already got to many so fuck them

They wont- heard the staff in hilton saying they’ll pull the place to bits- a good 50 of sunderlands finest would see them off if organised
